    I do so need this! I made a huge crock full of kraut this fall from 9 large heads of cabbage from my garden. Needless to say, it picked up the wrong bacteria and a couple weeks ago I had to throw it all out. :( I was heart broken, the lost of all that cabbage I started from seed, the loss of all the time involved, and the loss of all that future lip smacking goodness..  I was just thinking of trying some kraut in my large quart widemouths with a brine I found online… this would be reassuring for success with each batch of goodness. I love fermenting veggies from my garden.. thanks for such an awesome giveaway!
