Classic Clam Dip Recipe

As summer approaches I find myself craving snacky foods like fruits, veggies, crackers and dip. Clam dip topped with organic pasture-raised bacon is one of my favorite dips. Not only is it creamy and delicious, but its also very nutrient dense! Clams are a rich source of nutrients like B12, Choline, Calcium, Potassium and zinc.

Classic Clam Dip

Ingredients

  • 2-6 ounce Cans Of Clams (I found mine at Trader Joe’s)
  • 3/4 Cup Sour Cream
  • 3/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Green Onion, chopped
  • 6 slices of crispy organic pasture raised bacon, chopped into small pieces

Directions
In a medium bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce together. Set aside. Using a food processor or blender, finely mince the clams. Add clams to bowl and mix well. Add half of the bacon and chopped green onions to the dip and mix well. Top dip with the other half of chopped green onions and bacon pieces. Serve and enjoy!
