Grain Free Bread Crumbs Recipe

Grain Free Bread Crumbs

Grain Free Bread Crumbs

Makes 2 Cups

Grind your choice of nuts in food processor or blender until they are bread crumb size. Mix nut meal with grated parmesan cheese, coconut flour and seasoning of choice, I used Herbamare spicy blend. Store in air tight container in refrigerator. Use for breading chicken nuggets, fried chicken, inside meat loaf or in place of regular bread crumbs in any of your favorite dishes!

Make these bread crumbs more nutritious by soaking your nuts in salt water for 8 hours and then dehydrating them until they are crisp. This will reduce phytic acid and will make them easier to digest.

Enjoy!

Hi! I have a question about nut meal… could I use bobs red mill almond flour/meal? or what about just soaking my almonds and making almond flour? Would I use same amount? Thanks!

Do you suggest keeping this in the refrig or freezer? Haven’t made it yet, but will. Just want to know your opinion on storing it. Thanks!! I love this site and finding out awesome ways to cook/bake with coconut flour. You make lifestyle eating such a much easier transition for all of us.
