Update: After reading Dr. Kaayla Daniels report on Fermented Cod Liver Oil, I no longer endorse the use of this supplement. Read her report here: Hook, Line and Stinker!: The Truth About Fermented Cod Liver Oil
This is Bubba taking his cod liver oil blend (CLO with high vitamin butter oil). I usually only give him a 1/2 teaspoon a day, but he hadn’t had his CLO in a while so I let him have extra. My kids enjoy the chocolate flavored CLO and are willing to take it daily!
You can watch a video of my eldest daughter Naomi (now 4 years old) taking CLO here. We’re all about the CLO in our house, not just because of the chocolate flavor. It’s the supplement that very few of us know about. Which is a shame to me, as someone who’s seen great effects from it.
Why Do I Give My Kids Cod Liver Oil?
CLO is a rich source of vitamins A and D. The cod liver oil I give to my children is a blend of CLO and high vitamin butter oil. High vitamin butter oil contains vitamins K2 (an important nutrient most of us don’t get enough of), E and Coenzyme Q10. These are all included for the benefit of my kids’ health.
I give my kids 1/2 teaspoon a day. Sometimes more if we’re fighting sickness.
Where to Buy Cod Liver Oil
You can find cod liver oil at your local health food store or purchase CLO online like we do here. Tell me about your experience giving these and other supplements to your family in the comments!
