Ingredients
2 tablespoons baking soda
warm water
Instructions
Wash and dry your face prior to using this mask.
Mix the baking soda with a teaspoon of warm water. Mix well and add more water to the mixture until it turns into a thick paste.
Apply the baking soda paste in gentle circular motions. Avoid applying near your eyes and nostrils.
After applying the mask, let it sit on your face for about 5-10 minutes. During this time, you may experience a slight tingling sensation, which is normal. This indicates that the baking soda is working to exfoliate your skin.
Once the time is up, rinse off the baking soda paste thoroughly with lukewarm water, making sure to remove all traces of the baking soda mixture. Pat your face dry with a clean towel.
Follow up with your favorite moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and smooth. It’s recommended to use this baking soda face mask no more than once or twice a week to avoid over-exfoliating your skin, which can lead to irritation.
