Ingredients
- 2–3 large organic carrots
- 2–3 oranges
- 1 large knob of ginger root
- water – if blending
Instructions
Peel the fresh carrots, oranges, and ginger root.
Juicer Instructions:
- Feed the carrots, oranges, and ginger through your juicer chute.
- Once you’ve fed all the produce through the juicer, turn the juicer off and pour the fresh vegetable juice into a serving jar or cups.
- Depending on the type of juicer you own, you may need to strain the juice through a cheese cloth-lined fine mesh strainer.
Blender Instructions:
- You may need to chop the carrots up finally before blending. This will depend on the type of blender you have.
- Blend the carrots, oranges, and ginger in a high-speed blender with a cup of water added.
- Blend on high until the veggies are blended. Add more water as needed.
- Pour the vegetable puree through a nut milk bag and squeeze the fresh juice into a bowl or large measuring cup.
- Reserve the juice pulp for baking (try making carrot cake or crackers with it).
