If you love the smell of fresh coffee in the morning, you’re going to adore this Coffee Lip Scrub. It’s simple, completely natural, and incredibly effective at buffing away dry skin to leave your lips soft, smooth, and hydrated.
1 tablespoon coffee-infused oil
1 tablespoon cocoa butter
2 teaspoons beeswax
4 drops vanilla oleoresin
4 drops coffee essential oil
Add ground coffee to a clean, dry glass jar. Pour the carrier oil over the coffee until fully covered. Stir gently. Let sit for a few weeks, then strain through a cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer. Alternatively, infuse in a double boiler for a few hours.
Add the essential oils to the infused oil.
In a small bowl, mix together the coffee grounds and sugar until evenly combined.
Pour in the coffee-infused oil and stir until the mixture forms a smooth, slightly oily consistency.
Transfer the scrub to a small glass jar with a lid. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months.
Notes
Any carrier oil works — almond oil is a great choice.
