DIY Coffee Scrub Soap Recipe
This Coffee Scrub Soap is a natural, eco-friendly way to enjoy your morning cup of coffee in a whole new way. Whether you’re keeping it for yourself or sharing with friends, it’s a simple DIY that brings a touch of luxury to everyday skincare.
Ingredients
- 5 ounces shea butter melt-and-pour soap base
- 2 tablespoons ground coffee
- 15 drops essential oils (I used coffee essential oil)
Instructions
- Cut the Soap Base: Chop the melt-and-pour soap base into small cubes for easier melting.
- Melt the Base: Place cubes in a double boiler and heat gently until fully melted, stirring occasionally.
- Add Coffee: Stir in the ground coffee until evenly distributed.
- Add Essential Oils: Remove from heat and stir in your chosen essential oils.
- Pour into Molds: Carefully pour the mixture into soap molds or silicone baking molds.
- Cool & Unmold: Let the soap sit at room temperature for several hours, or refrigerate for faster setting. Once hardened, remove from molds and enjoy!
