
1 package of pasta
2–4 quarts of water (depending on size of pot)
1/2–1 tbs sea salt
1 tbs olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Additional ingredients: marinara sauce, meatballs, peas, Parmesan shavings
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add pasta and cook until slightly under al dente (4-15 minutes depending on size of pasta). Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water.
Drain pasta in a colander and add immediately back to the pot.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. If using a sauce, add it to the pasta along with 1/4 cup of the reserved pasta water. Use more pasta water, as needed to emulsify the two. Spoon into bowls, add desired toppings, & enjoy!
