For an amazing crumb and texture, here’s how to make your own Homemade Oat Flour for all your delicious baking and cooking needs.

Ingredients

3 cups whole rolled oats, gluten-free if desired

Instructions

  1. Measure your oats carefully. Add them to your blender.
  2. Blend on high for 3-4 minutes until you have a fine flour.
  3. Remove to a sealed, airtight storage container. Use for baking, coating, frying, or any other needs in place of wheat flour.

Notes

Make as much oat flour as you’d like. This recipe works with any measurement of oats.

Use a blender over a food processor. A blender will give a finer flour than a food processor.

If desired, sift your blended oats before storing to remove any large pieces of oat that have been left behind.

3 cups of oats equals about 1 1/3 cups flour
