This simple homemade flaxseed milk recipe comes together with a big nutritional punch with omega rich flaxseeds! This flax milk is a great alternative to cow’s milk and tastes delicious alone or used in cereal or oatmeal.

  1. Mix the flaxseeds with 2 cups of water and soak for 8-12 hours.
  2. Rinse the flaxseeds well and remove the gel layer around the flax.
  3. Pour the soaked seeds into a high-speed blender. Add in four cups of water and blend on high for 30-60 seconds or until the milk is creamy and smooth.
  4. Pour the fresh flax milk through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag. Store the fresh flax milk in the refrigerator for up to a week.
