How to Make Your Own Pea Milk

Ingredients

1 cup of Yellow Split Peas

6 cups of Water

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Honey

Instructions

Step 1 – Add all of your yellow split peas to 3 cups of water, and leave them to soak overnight.

Step 2 – Drain and then rinse all of your peas, and then add them to 3 new cups of water, bringing it all to a boil and then reducing to a simmer for 1 hour.

Step 3 – Drain the peas, and add them to a blender, along with the water from the blender, or 3 new cups of water, as well as all of your other ingredients.

Step 4 – Blend everything together until it is totally smooth.

Step 5 – Strain your pea milk through a nut milk bag or a fine mesh strainer, and then store it in a sealed container with an airtight lid in the fridge for up to 1 week.
