Lemon Kombucha Recipe

Lemon kombucha is tasty and easy to make! All you need is a fresh batch of kombucha, lemons, and sugar or maple syrup!

  1. Clean and sanitize your jars and counter surfaces. Wash your hands and ensure that all instruments are clean and sanitized.
  2. Juice the lemons with a citrus juicer. Pour 1/4 cup of lemon juice into each jar.
  3. Pour 1/4 cup of maple syrup or sugar into each jar.
  4. Top with fresh kombucha, leaving 1-2 inches of space at the top of each jar.
  5. Secure tightly with the lid and leave at room temperature to ferment for 3-4 days. Open the bottle every other day to release pressure from the jars.
  6. Once the kombucha has fermented and is fizzy, refrigerate it for up to 7 days.
