This overnight lip mask is perfect for dry winter lips that need extra moisturizing. This recipe is made with natural ingredients that soothe and soften lips.

Ingredients

4 teaspoons castor oil
4 teaspoons carrier oil
4 teaspoons shea butter
4 teaspoons beeswax
8 drops essential oils

Instructions

In a double boiler, combine the castor oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, and beeswax. Gently heat until fully melted, stirring occasionally.

Once melted and smooth, remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.

Stir in your chosen essential oil blend and mix well to combine.

Pour the mixture into small tins or jars and allow it to cool completely before placing lids on.

Notes
Stir while cooling for a softer, creamier texture; leave untouched for a firm balm.

Any essential oils work.

Any carrier oil works — jojoba is a great choice.
