  1. Combine the water, yeast, butter, and honey in a bowl and let rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Blend the cottage cheese and egg whites in a blender until smooth. Add the mixture to the bowl and mix well.
  3. Add flour and salt and knead the dough for 5-8 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough evenly into 10 balls. Shape the bagels by pressing your thumbs into the center of the balls to create a hole.
  5. Stretch the dough until it is a bagel shape and place it on a cookie sheet. Continue with each piece of dough until all the bagels are formed.
  6. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  7. After resting, bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  8. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  9. Boil the bagels, 3-4 at a time, for 5-7 minutes, turning halfway through.
  10. Remove from the water and place a lined cookie sheet. Cover with sea salt or bagel seasoning and place in the oven.
  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
