Sesame Seed Milk Recipe

Make this homemade sesame seed milk with sesame seeds, dates, water and sea salt. This tasty vegan milk is creamy and declines and great milk alternative to nut milk.

  1. Soak the sesame seeds in two cups of water for at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
  2. Rinse the soaked seeds and discard the soaking water.
  3. Place the seeds in a high speed blender and add the dates, water and sea salt.  Blend on high for a few minutes or until the milk is creamy and smooth.
  4. Strain the pulp from the milk and pour the milk into a storage glass bottle or jar. 
  5. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
