Step 1: Collect 1 cup of garlic cloves (around two heads of garlic).

Step 2: Crush the garlic cloves with the flat part of a large knife and peel them. (Pro tip: If you see any woody bits on the end of the clove, chop them off and discard them, as they make the tonic taste bitter.)

Step 3: Place the garlic cloves into the jar.

Step 4: Add the honey, but omit this if you want a keto version.

Step 5: Add the apple cider vinegar.

Step 6: Stir well until the honey has thoroughly mixed into the vinegar.

Step 7: Give it a little shake! 

Step 8: Store in the refrigerator. It will be ready to use after one week. Shake before each use.
