
If there’s anything that ginger loves, it’s orange. And orange turns around and loves ginger right back! The sweetness of the orange plays off the earthy spice of the ginger to create a literal lip-smacking drink.
1 cup water
3 large slices ginger, peeled
Ice
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice (blood orange is particularly nice)
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Bring the water and ginger to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature, approximately 15 minutes.
Pour the ginger water over ice in a Collins glass and stir in orange juice and apple cider vinegar.
Serve immediately.
