Ingredients
2cups oatmeal
3 tablespoons ground flax
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2cup applesauce
1/4cup pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional: chocolate chips, dried fruit, brown sugar or other toppings
Instructions
Preheat the oven 350 degrees F.
Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl and set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients together and pour it into the dry ingredients.
Mix the batter and press it into a parchment paper lined baking dish. Top with chocolate chips, dried fruit, or brown sugar.
Bake for 20-25 minutes and allow the bars to cool before cutting into bars.
Store bars in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
