Coquito is a delicious traditional Puerto Rican holiday drink made with coconut, rum, vanilla, and cinnamon.

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, cream of coconut, evaporated milk, coconut milk, vanilla, cinnamon sticks, and nutmeg. Warm over medium-high heat until it begins to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat, cover, and let the mixture infuse for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove the cinnamon sticks, then pour the mixture into a pitcher.
  4. Add 1 cup of rum and taste; add more rum for a stronger flavor. 
  5. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  6. Serve in small portions over ice.
