Dried Orange Slices (Dehydrator or Oven)

Learn how to make beautiful dried orange slices at home in your oven or dehydrator. These lovely garnishes can be used in home decor, recipes and so much more.

  1. Slice the oranges into thin slices, about1/4 inch thick, and place on a plate. Dry the orange slices with a paper towel or cloth. 
  2. Place the oranges in a single layer on a dehydrator tray or parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
  3. Dehydrate the oranges in medium-high heat for 6-8 hours, or until they’re dried. If your drying the orange slices in the oven, at 200 degrees ferinhight for 2-4 hours. You will need to flip the oranges every 30-45 minutes to ensure both sides get dehydrated.
  4. Once dried, remove the dehydrated orange slices from the drying plate and store in a cool, dry place. They can be displayed at room temperature or stored in an airtight container or ziplock bag.
