Ingredients
2–3 fresh oranges (navel oranges, cara cara oranges, blood oranges, mandarine oranges or choice of orange)
Instructions
Slice the oranges into thin slices, about1/4 inch thick, and place on a plate. Dry the orange slices with a paper towel or cloth.
Place the oranges in a single layer on a dehydrator tray or parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
Dehydrate the oranges in medium-high heat for 6-8 hours, or until they’re dried. If your drying the orange slices in the oven, at 200 degrees ferinhight for 2-4 hours. You will need to flip the oranges every 30-45 minutes to ensure both sides get dehydrated.
Once dried, remove the dehydrated orange slices from the drying plate and store in a cool, dry place. They can be displayed at room temperature or stored in an airtight container or ziplock bag.
