Boost your immune system with this homemade fresh ginger tea recipe made with fresh ginger root, hot water and honey. This simple recipe is tasty and can be served hot or cold.

  1. Heat the water in a tea kettle or in a pot over medium-high heat.
  2. While the water is heating, prep the ginger by chopping it into small pieces. 
  3. Put the ginger chunks into a tea infuser and place the infuser over a mug.
  4. Pour the boiling water over the ginger and let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Once the ginger tea is ready, remove the ginger, add a drizzle of honey, and top it with fresh lemon or fresh lemon juice. 
  6. You can reuse the ginger to make another cup of tea, so reserve it for another use if you like.
