Enjoy granola in a totally new way with this Granola Butter recipe, a sweet and nutty spread perfect for yogurt, toast, and more!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. An optional first step is to roast the oats and cashews before blending.
  2. To roast, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. Add the oats and the nuts to a baking tray. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Allow to cool slightly.
  4. Add all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 10-20 minutes until you have a nut butter-like consistency. Be sure to give your blender a break every 5 minutes or so, so the machine does not overheat.
  5. Store covered 1-2 weeks in a cool, dark place. You can also store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Notes

Use certified gluten-free oats if desired.

Add more or less maple syrup depending on how sweet you like your granola.

If your blender starts to overheat, give it a break every few minutes. This recipe takes a long time to blend, so don’t give up!
