What is Granola Butter?
Granola butter is ground butter that uses the same ingredients you would normally find in granola. This includes ingredients like rolled oats, nuts, seeds, maple syrup, honey, and coconut oil. You can use any dry spices to flavor it, too!

- 2 cups rolled oats
- ½ cup walnuts
- ½ cup pistachios
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
How to Make It
An optional first step is to roast the oats and cashews before blending.
To roast, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Add the oats and the nuts to a baking tray. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Allow to cool slightly.
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 10-20 minutes until you have a nut butter-like consistency.
Be sure to give your blender a break every 5 minutes or so, scraping down the sides with a spatula, so the machine does not overheat.
Notes:
Use certified gluten-free oats if desired.
Add more or less maple syrup depending on how sweet you like your granola.
