This easy green juice recipe is a great way to get greens into your diet and includes foods that boost the immune system!

Ingredients
1 bunch of celery
1–2 cucumbers
1 bunch of kale
2–3 green apples
1 bunch of parsley
1 lime
ginger root
Instructions
Wash, peel and chop the veggies and apples.
Turn your vegetable juicer on and feed the chopped produce through the juicer chute one at a time.
Continue until you’ve used all your produce.
Turn off the juicer and pour the fresh pressed juice into a serving glass.
It’s best to drink this juice fresh, but if you have extra you can store it in an airtight container for 24 hours. Adding lemon juice to the green juice can prolong the shelf life.

If you don’t have a cold pressed juicer you can make this tasty green juice recipe in a blender.
You will need to use a high power blender to make juice in a blender. You will also need a fine mesh strainer and cheesecloth or a nut milk bag to strain the juice.
Wash the produce and pat it dry.
Chop the celery, cucumber, kale, apples, and ginger into smaller pieces. Peel and mince the ginger.
Add the veggies to your blender and add 1-2 cups of cold water or coconut water.
Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, or until the veggies have blended.
Strain the vegetable juice through a fine-mesh strainer or a clean nut milk bag.
Squeeze out excess juice and compost or discard the juice pulp.
This homemade green juice should be served immediately. If you have extra you can store it in an a mason jar or airtight container for 24 hours. Adding lemon or orange juice to the cold-pressed juice can prolong it’s shelf life.
