Green Juice Recipe FAQ
How often should I drink green juice?
You can include fresh juices in your diet daily. You can add this recipe into your juicing rotation and drink it as often you like.
Can I use dried parsley?
It’s best to use fresh herbs for juicing. If you don’t have access to parsley you can use other herbs like mint or cilantro instead.
Can I make this juice ahead of time?
You can, but it’s best to drink it fresh. If you need to make juice ahead of time it’s a good idea to fill the glass jar to the brim to reduce exposure to oxygen. As the juice sits it may begin to separate, so make sure to give it a good shake before drinking.
Can I consume the pulp leftover from juicing or blending?
Yes, you can repurpose the pulp in various ways, such as adding it to soups, stews, or sauces for added fiber and nutrients. Alternatively, you can compost it for an eco-friendly option.
Is there a recommended time of day to drink green juice?
While there’s no strict rule, many people enjoy green juice in the morning as a refreshing and energizing start to their day. However, you can enjoy it at any time that fits your schedule and preferences.
Can I customize the recipe to suit my taste preferences?
Absolutely! Feel free to experiment with different combinations of vegetables and fruits to create a green juice that suits your taste buds. You can also add herbs, spices, or citrus fruits to enhance the flavor profile.
Are there any health benefits associated with drinking green juice?
Yes, green juice is a nutrient-rich beverage that can provide essential vitamins and minerals. If you struggle with consuming fresh fruits and vegetables, drinking juices can be a way to add these health foods to your diet.
What juicer do you use?
I have a few juicers that I use for different types of juices. I have nama juicers, (which are easy to use) I use them when I’m pressed on time. For celery juice and green juice, I use masticating juicer like the omega juicer (in the picture and videos) because it produces more juice without heat.
What’s the best high-power blender to use?
I personally use a vitamix blender. I’ve had mine for over a decade and it has never let me down.
