  1. Add the basil, sage, rosemary, and thyme to a spice grinder or blender. Pulse until the herbs are ground into a fine powder (or your desired texture).
  2. In a medium bowl, stir the herb mixture into the sea salt until fully combined.
  3. Taste your herb salt on a piece of cucumber, tomato, or another mild food. If the herbal flavor is too strong for your taste, mix in a bit more plain salt until you reach your preferred balance.
  4. Pour the herb salt into a clean, dry jar with a tight-fitting lid. Store it in a cool, dark place like a pantry. Shake before using if any separation occurs.
