This warm and tasty ginger turmeric tea comes together quickly and only requires a few minutes to make! This natural remedy uses whole spices and natural ingredients to create a warming tea!

Ingredients

*Black pepper is optional but helps better absorption of curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric.

Instructions

  1. Pour for cups of water into a small saucepan or kettle. Bring to a boil.
  2. Place the dried or fresh herbs and spices into teapot.
  3. Cover with the hot water and cover. Allow the tea steep for 3-5 minutes. Strain the tea and pour it into two mugs.
  4. Add a squeeze of lemon juice, fresh sliced lemon and sweeten with honey.
