
Sweet mango body butter soothes cracked skin, minimizes the look of wrinkles, and provides UV ray protection. Make your own in just a few steps!
3/4 cup coconut oil, unrefined
1/2 cup mango butter
1 tablespoon vitamin E oil
Optional: 10 drops essential oil of your choice
Melt the mango oil and cocoa butter in a double boiler over low heat.
Once melted, remove from heat and let cool until semi-solid, but still soft, (~2 hours). Move to the fridge to hasten the process.
When semi-solid, use a standing or handheld mixer with whisk attachments to whip the mixture into a fluffy cream, approximately 2 minutes.
Add the vitamin E oil and essential oils (if using). Whisk a few times more to incorporate.
Scoop the body butter into an airtight jar. Use it daily and luxuriate in the homemade hydration!
