Pour the pecans into a food processor and blend in 30 second intervals until a fine powder forms. Make sure not to blend for too long or the pecan meal will turn into pecan butter!
Once you’ve achieved a flour consistency, remove the flour from the food processor and store in an airtight container. Store at room temperature for up to 30 days.
Use pecan flour in recipes that call for it. It can be substituted with almond meal and other nut based flours in most recipes.
