Peppermint whipped cream is a quick and festive upgrade to just about any dessert or drink. With only a handful of ingredients, you can whip up a batch in minutes and instantly make any treat holiday-ready.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place a mixing bowl and beaters (or whisk attachment) in the freezer for 10–15 minutes. Cold equipment helps the cream whip faster.
  2. Pour the chilled heavy cream into the cold bowl. Add powdered sugar and peppermint extract.
  3. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
  4. This usually takes 2–3 minutes. Give your whipped cream a taste. If you’d like it sweeter or mintier, add a bit more sugar or extract and whip again briefly.
  5. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Whip briefly again before serving if needed.
