Ingredients
1–2cups of cold brew coffee or prepared hot coffee
1–2 scoops of collagen peptides
8–10ounces of bottled protein shake or homemade protein milk (recipe below)
Ice (for iced or blended coffee)
Optional: Sweeteners like simple syrup, sugar free flavor syrups, maple syrup, or liquid stevia
Protein Milk Ingredients:
1cup of dairy or non-dairy milk
1 scoop (15-20g) of protein powder
Instructions
Collagen Coffee:
Iced: Mix cold brew coffee with 1-2 scoops of collagen peptides. Use a frother if needed to blend the peptides into the coffee. Pour the coffee over ice and top with your favorite creamer, milk and sweetener.
Hot: Brew your coffee and add 1-2 scoops of collagen peptides to your mug of coffee. Stir to combine and add your favorite creamer, milk and sweetener.
Protein Milk:
Blend one cup of milk with a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
Blend well and make sure there are no clumps.
Iced Protein Coffee:
Fill a large jug or mason jar with ice and top with one cup of cold brew coffee and 8-10 ounces of homemade protein milk or your favorite bottled protein shake.
Sweeten with your favorite liquid sweetener and enjoy!
Hot Protein Coffee:
Brew your coffee and top with either homemade protein milk or your favorite bottled protein shake.
Store leftover protein milk for later use.
Blended Protein Coffee:
Freeze protein milk or bottled protein powder in ice trays overnight.
Pop the cubes into a blender and top with 1-2 cups of cold brew coffee and flavor syrups.
Blend on high for 30-60 seconds or until you reach desired texture.
