These tallow lotion bars are perfect for dry winter skin. This intense moisturizer is a great addition to your skin care routine and is made with natural ingredients!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Melt tallow and beeswax in a double boiler.
  2. Once melted, remove the pan from the heat and mix in the olive oil, vitamin E oil, and essential oils. Stir with a rubber spatula.
  3. Carefully pour the warm mixture into silicon molds. I like to place the molds on top of a baking sheet first to make it easier to transfer to the freezer.
  4. Place the molds into the refrigerator or freezer to set them up quickly.
  5. After an hour, the bars should be solid and ready to remove from the molds. Place the lotion bars in a storage container and keep in a cool place. If your home is on the warmer side, they may melt slightly. I store my bars in the refrigerator in the summer to prevent them from melting.
