Make this Homemade Unicorn Body Butter for a magically hydrating experience! Just a few simple steps and you’ll be shimmering like a unicorn!

Ingredients

3/4 cup coconut oil, unrefined

1/2 cup shea or mango butter

1 tablespoon vitamin E oil

Optional: 10 drops essential oil of your choice

1/4 teaspoon mica powder in blue, pink, yellow, and green

Instructions

Melt the coconut oil and shea or mango butter in a double boiler over low heat.

Once melted, remove from heat and let cool until semi-solid, but still soft, (~2 hours). Move to the fridge to hasten the process.

When semi-solid, use a standing or handheld mixer with whisk attachments to whip the mixture into a fluffy cream, approximately 2 minutes.

Add the vitamin E oil and essential oils (if using). Whisk a few times more to incorporate.

Divide equally into four separate bowls. Add 1/4 teaspoon of colored mica powder, one color in each bowl. Mix with separate spoons until the powder is fully incorporated.

Prepare a piping bag with a circle or flower-shaped tip. Scoop each portion of body butter into the piping bag. Swirl into an airtight jar.

Store in a cool, dry place up to six months. Smooth onto skin daily for glittery, moisturizing magic!
