Ingredients
Fresh seedless watermelon, chopped with the rind removed
Optional: Ice cubes, lime, and mint leaves
Instructions
Chop the watermelon in half and scoop out the flesh.
Put the watermelon pieces into a high-speed blender. Depending on the size of your blender, you may only be able to juice part of the watermelon simultaneously.
Place the lid on the blender and blend on high for a minute or until the watermelon flesh turns into juice.
Place a fine mesh strainer over a large bowl and pour the blended watermelon over the strainer. Let the watermelon strain while you blend the rest of the watermelon.
Continue to blend the whole watermelon until all of the flesh has been blended and strained into the large bowl.
Once strained, pour the refreshing juice into a large container or glass jars to store. Add a slash of lemon juice over the juice if you will not be drinking it immediately. This will help extend the shelf life of the juice.
How To Serve:Â Drink as is or add optional ingredients to spice it up! My favorite way to enjoy this delicious watermelon juice is with ice cubes, fresh mint and a splash of lime juice.
