Ingredients
1–2 containers of wheatgrass
1cup cold water
Instructions
Use a pair of scissors to cut the wheatgrass at the roots.
Wash the fresh-cut wheatgrass in a colander and pat dry.
Place the wheatgrass in a blender and top with 1 cup of cold water.
Blend the wheatgrass on high for 30-60 seconds or until the water turns dark green and the grass completely blends.
Pour the blended juice through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag. Squeeze out all the liquid from the blended grass.
Pour the fresh wheatgrass juice into shot glasses and drink immediately. Chase the wheat grass shots with a cup of fresh-squeezed orange juice or coconut water.
Leftover juice can be stored in individual glass shot jars in the refrigerator for up to three days. Alternatively, wheatgrass juice can be frozen in freezer-safe containers for up to three months.
