HOW TO MAKE  COCONUT CHIPS

These coconut chips are a treat for every coconut lover! Sprinkle them on top of  coconut milk ice cream, coconut flour cupcakes, mix them into granola and eat them plain.

INGREDIENTS

MAPLE SYRUP

COCONUT OIL

VANILLA

COCONUT FLAKES

STEP 1

In a medium bowl, combine coconut flakes, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract and salt. stir to combine.

STEP 2

Spread the coconut flakes in an even layer on the cookie sheet, drizzle any excess liquid over the coconut.

STEP 3

Bake for 12 minutes, stirring and flipping the flakes every 3-5 minutes until crispy and golden. Watch them carefully in the last few minutes asn they can be easily burnt.

STEP 4

Remove the coconut chips from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes, it will continue to crisp as it cools.

SERVE & ENJOY

Store in an air-tight container for 5-7 days. This recipe is freezer friendly.
