Beloved Washington brewery closing after nearly a decade in business

Off Camber Brewing is closing

Off Camber Brewing in Puyallup is scheduled to close on September 26, 2026. The brewery opened in 2017 and became part of the local craft beer scene, serving its own beers alongside food and hosting events at its taproom.

The closure comes as owner James Brandt prepares to retire after more than 20 years in the beer industry. Rather than continuing operations under new ownership, Brandt has decided to bring Off Camber Brewing’s run to an end.

The brewery’s final day is expected to include a closing celebration, giving longtime customers an opportunity to gather at the taproom one last time. Food and live music are also planned as part of the farewell.
