Peak expansion and contraction
Founded in 2013 in Gilbert, Arizona, Salad and Go grew rapidly over the past decade, expanding into major markets including Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona and Nevada. At its peak in 2025, the chain operated more than 140 restaurants nationwide.
That trajectory reversed in late 2025 when the company announced a large wave of closures. In September 2025, Salad and Go shuttered 41 restaurants across Texas and Oklahoma, including all of its locations in Houston, Austin and San Antonio, along with a number of stores in North Texas and Oklahoma City‑area outlets.
Final closures and dates
The contraction continued into January 2026. On January 11, 2026, the chain closed the remaining 32 restaurants in Texas and Oklahoma — including the last stores in the Dallas‑Fort Worth and Oklahoma City and Tulsa markets — effectively ending its operations in both states.

With the exit complete, Salad and Go now operates approximately 70 restaurants located in Arizona and Nevada, combining dozens of outlets in Phoenix, Tucson and Las Vegas markets.
