Intro

They say the only constant is change, and Trader Joe’s reminds me of that concept all the time.
It seems like genuinely every day that they’re adding something new or taking something away.
They’re constantly refreshing their menu and testing out new stuff – and they’ve recently released some really incredible new food…

Intro (continued)

I feel like a lot of these dishes are things I’ve been wanting to see from TJ’s for a long time.
Here are nine that are particularly exciting…

Spicy chicken nuggets

These spicy nuggets are great tasting and a great value, which is no surprise for TJ’s.
But what’s even better is that the chicken is free range, vegetarian feed, no antibiotics, no added hormones.
So, pretty close to as natural as you can get without raising them in your own backyard.

Sugared rice cracker hearts

My kids tried these and love them.
Plus, they’re mostly air. A great post-Valentine’s treat!

Double-cream brie

Do you love brie?
Of course you do.
Do you love double-cream even better?
Obviously. It’s 60% butterfat, so you get an extra rich taste.
My two cents is that this is 100% worth baking in puff pastry with lots of jam.

Pizza Ranch Salad Kit

The four-cheese crumbles and pizza seasoned ranch dressing make for a really different taste from what you’re probably used to with your typical bagged salad. It’s definitely worth a try, and it’s exactly the sort of innovative flavors we all love to see at Trader Joe’s.
So good (and decadent) for a salad!

Gluten-free oatmeal coconut cookies

I’m always up for gluten-free options, and these deliver exactly the take you’ve come to love and expect from oatmeal cookies.
(Be warned, they have raisins – I know some people aren’t into that. Although I’ve never understood why…)

Whipped feta spread

This is great all on its own, but I think it’s even better if you add a little garlic and lemon to it – as you can see, it creates a beautiful presentation.
But honestly, you can also just eat this on a spoon. Or on a cracker.

Italian Tiramisu

Why it’s great: I’m a sucker for a good slice of tiramisu, and to be honest I’d never had my own individual tiramisu before trying this delicious new dish from Trader Joe’s. I’m hooked.
Price point: $4.49

Blueberries & cream yogurt

Blueberry yogurt is already delicious.
But somehow, whenever TJ’s does something, it’s extra good. You know?
Same rule applies here. It’s just…better.
Grab a couple and see what I mean.

Manzanilla pitted olives

Trader Joe’s olives are always good and cheap (this is a 14.35 oz can for $2.49).
A great, easy way to elevate a cheese or charcuterie board.

Summary

So there you have it – new TJ’s items we’ve been waiting for, all of which are fantastic.
I’ve been hoping for stuff like this for some time, so it’s great to see these new items (and I’m hopeful for even more in the coming months).
But really, the big question is…
