A Florida supplier of restaurant packaging has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, putting its business into a liquidation proceeding. ReRoute Americasโ case shows that the financial trouble behind restaurant-industry bankruptcies can reach beyond the dining room.
ReRoute Americas, Inc., filed its voluntary petition on October 13, 2026, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The public docket lists a Winter Garden, Florida, address for the company.

A liquidation case, not a Chapter 11 turnaround
Chapter 7 is different from the reorganization process often used by restaurant operators trying to keep their businesses running. In a business liquidation, a trustee handles the bankruptcy estate and any assets available for distribution to creditors under the law.
The ReRoute docket shows that Alfred T. Giuliano was appointed interim trustee on October 14. The case is assigned to Judge Thomas M. Horan.
According to What Nowโs report on the petition, ReRoute estimated assets between $500,001 and $1 million and liabilities between $1,000,001 and $10 million. The petition uses broad estimate ranges; detailed financial schedules are among the next documents due in the case.
The same report lists an estimated 50 to 99 creditors. ReRouteโs obligations will now be addressed through the liquidation case, which can involve gathering assets, reviewing claims and determining what funds are available to distribute.
Packaging behind the takeout order
ReRoute markets itself as a wholesale restaurant supplier focused on food packaging. Its website describes a business built around helping food-service customers obtain the materials used to pack and deliver meals.
The company says it works with manufacturers in North, Central and South America. It has promoted recyclable plastics and biodegradable materials as part of its product offering, describing sustainability as a central part of its sales pitch.
That puts the business in a different part of the food economy from a restaurant chain. Its customers buy supplies used behind the counter and around an order, rather than visiting ReRoute for a prepared meal.
Patrick and Danielle Bishop are identified on the company website as its co-founders. The site describes Danielleโs role in sales and Patrickโs background in business operations and acquisitions.
What happens next in the case
A meeting of creditors is scheduled for November 10, according to the docket. The courtโs initial notices also set an October 28 deadline for outstanding financial schedules and related paperwork.
Those filings will help describe the companyโs financial position in more detail. Any money ultimately available to creditors will depend on the estateโs assets, claims and the bankruptcy processโnot simply the broad estimates listed when the case began.
