A Fort Myers restaurant offering sushi, burgers, ramen and other global dishes has joined the list of Florida restaurant bankruptcy filings. American Grille with Sushi, LLC, which does business as LYNQ, sought Chapter 11 protection on October 14, 2026.
The filing concerns the business behind LYNQ at 16230 Summerlin Road, Suite 223. It is a small-business reorganization case in the Fort Myers division of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

The business behind the restaurant is in court
American Grille with Sushi is the company named in the bankruptcy case, while LYNQ is its restaurant name. Judge Luis Ernesto Rivera II is overseeing the proceeding, and the company is represented by attorney Jonathan Bierfeld of the Martin Law Firm.
The company elected Subchapter V, a Chapter 11 process designed for eligible small businesses. The filing starts a court-supervised process; it is not, on its own, an order to close the dining room.
An October 15 docket entry shows the company requested permission to continue using its existing bank accounts. Its early filings also include a list of its largest unsecured creditors and corporate ownership information.
The docket also lists January 12, 2027, as the initial deadline for a Subchapter V plan. Such a plan would set out how the company proposes to address its obligations, with further proceedings required before the outcome is settled.
A menu that crosses several cuisines
LYNQ opened on Summerlin Road in May 2017, according to What Nowโs report on the filing. Its concept brings together different cuisines instead of concentrating on a single style of cooking.
The restaurantโs official website features tuna tataki, a sweet-and-spicy salmon dish, the LYNQ Rodeo Burger and a taco trio. It also highlights sushi, seafood ramen, wings and vegan options.
That variety is central to the restaurantโs identity. A group choosing dinner can find both raw-fish dishes and more familiar burgers or chicken, while the site also lists gluten-free selections.
Music and gatherings are part of the presentation, too. LYNQ promotes a relaxed setting for celebrations and group meals, along with catering, takeout and delivery.
What customers can check now
The restaurantโs website continues to display its menu, posted service hours, online ordering and a reservation link. Those are the public-facing tools customers can check before making plans.
The posted schedule lists lunch and dinner service on weekdays, evening service on Saturdays and a Sunday closing. Customers can contact the Summerlin Road restaurant directly to confirm service and reservations as the reorganization gets underway.
