The retailer calls this its first Sephora at Kohl’s giveaway. It is separate from the Kohl’s Cash promotion planned for Black Friday itself, and shoppers should not assume every card will be worth $100.
How the one-day Sephora giveaway works
According to Kohl’s October 30 holiday announcement, cards will be distributed in person at participating Sephora at Kohl’s locations starting when those stores open November 28. They are first-come, first-served and available only while supplies last.
No purchase is necessary to receive a card. Participants must be at least 18 and live in one of the 50 states or Washington, D.C. The limit is one card per household.
What shoppers receive is a promotional coupon, not cash or a general Kohl’s gift card. Its value varies between $5 and $100, and it can be redeemed only on eligible beauty purchases in-store at Sephora at Kohl’s on November 28. Save it for Sunday or try to spend it online, and the announced promotion will no longer apply.

Black Friday has a different giveaway
On Friday, November 27, Kohl’s plans a separate promotion: the first 200 shoppers at each Kohl’s store nationwide can receive $5 to $100 in instant promotional Kohl’s Cash, while supplies last.
That Friday Kohl’s Cash must be spent in a single in-store transaction the day it is issued; unused value is forfeited. It cannot be redeemed for Sephora at Kohl’s merchandise. In other words, the Friday reward and Saturday beauty coupon are not interchangeable.
Kohl’s says its stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, and will generally open at 5 a.m. local time on Black Friday. Hours can vary, and that announced Friday opening time should not be assumed for Saturday’s Sephora event.

The retailer’s early Black Friday event runs November 6–8, with thousands of offers across gifts, clothing, home goods and other categories.
