Intro

Buc-ee’s is amazing for all kinds of reasons…
(The clean bathrooms, the friendly staff, the merch, the whole beaver theme, and so much more)
…but especially for the amount and quality of its food – and its impressively low prices.
You can get a ton of great food for really not all that much money. (Just as one example, here are a ton of great Buc-ee’s foods that cost less than $5.)
(You can also spend way too much money at Buc-ee’s if you’re not careful, that happens a lot too.)

Intro (continued…)

So I spent some time poking around my local Buc-ee’s and thinking about how to quickly and easily build out some really good meals…for less than $10…that, frankly, would be way too much good food for most people to eat.
Because let’s face it – eating like a king for under $10 (before taxes) is a tough thing to do just about anywhere else.
So here are my 10 ways you can eat like a king at Buc-ee’s all for less than $10.
Starting with a personal favorite:

Breakfast #1: Breakfast burrito, coffee, pie

Breakfast burrito (sausage or bacon with egg and cheese): $3.49
12 oz coffee: $1.49
Chocolate pie slice: $3.99
Total cost: $8.97 (plus tax)
Where else can you get a full-size breakfast burrito, plus a coffee, plus a slice of chocolate pie for just nine bucks?

Breakfast #2: Two breakfast tacos, coffee, danish

Breakfast tacos (bacon or potato, egg, and cheese; or sausage and egg): $2.99 each (so, $5.98 total)
12 oz coffee: $1.49
Danish (lots of different flavors): $2.49
Total cost: $9.96
Really, you could just have the tacos and the coffee, or the danish and the coffee and probably consider that a fine breakfast…but at Buc-ee’s, you can do all three and still stay under $10.

Breakfast #3: Two savory kolaches, one sweet kolache, coffee

Savory kolaches (sausage or jalapeno and cheese; or bacon, egg, and cheese): $2.49 each (so, $4.98 total)
Sweet kolache (lots of options – try the strawberry cream cheese for a traditional flavor, or the key lime pie if you’re feeling adventurous): $2.49
12 oz coffee: $1.49
Total cost: $8.96
Again, three kolaches for breakfast is probably considered excessive by most people. But I said you could eat like a king, didn’t I?

Lunch #1: Two hot dogs, medium drink, beaver chips

Hot dogs: $2.99 each (so, $5.98 total)
Medium fountain drink: $1.49
Beaver chips: $2.49
Total cost: $9.96
Most people make do with one hot dog. But you? You’re a king. You deserve two. Plus fresh chips. Plus a medium fountain drink. And all for less than $10.

Lunch #2: Beef chili, small drink, large banana pudding

Beef chili: $4.99
Small fountain drink: $1
Large banana pudding: $4.99
Total cost: $9.98
Chili is a good meal on its own. Add a drink and large banana pudding (not a small banana pudding, but a large) for a total cost of less than $10?
Yes please.

Lunch #3: Brisket taco + fudge

Brisket taco: $6.49
Fudge (tons of flavors – tiger butter, chocolate pecan, blueberry cheesecake, rocky road, and so many more): $3.50
Total cost: $9.99
The brisket taco is quite large and filling, but hey – we can all make room for a little dessert, right?
