Freddy’s Big Picture Expansion Plans

Freddy’s already has over 500 locations.
And they’re hoping to add over 130 more between what they’ve done in 2024 and what they’re hoping to do in 2025.
Let’s look at the states they’re targeting…

Washington (first locations!)

Washington will be getting its first Freddy’s soon thanks to a 10-unit franchise deal.
They’ll be in the Seattle area.

New Jersey (Northern)

New Jersey only has a few Freddy’s (4 so far), but a recent 4-unit deal will be bringing more.
Specifically to Monmouth County.
Monmouth includes the Tri-City region (Red Bank, Long Branch, and Asbury Park).

Texas

Freddy’s already has the most Freddy’s locations of any state (over 80).
But the rich get richer with three different franchisees in the process of adding eight locations (including four in the Austin area).

New Mexico

New Mexico has 8 locations, mostly around Albuquerque.
More are coming as part of the a 13-location deal with a franchisee that operates in Colorado, Alabama, Texas, and New Mexico.

Idaho

Idaho has eight locations but may get more as part of a franchisee’s nine-location deal across three states.

Utah

Utah’s seven locations will likely also expand as part of that nine-location deal that includes Idaho.

Oregon (first location!)

The other state besides Idaho and Utah to get in on that nine-location deal is Oregon.
This’ll be Oregon’s very first Freddy’s location!

Oklahoma

Oklahoma already has 25 locations since its northern neighbor Kansas was the birthplace of Freddy’s.
A franchisee that operates in multiple states has expanded its ongoing 13-location deal to 18 locations, so expect some more!

Arkansas

Arkansas has 17 Freddy’s locations and is slated to get more based on franchisee commitments!

Missouri

The town of Neosho is expected to add a store to Missouri’s existing 30+ locations!

Arizona

Based on franchisee plans, Arizona is continuing to add locations to its current 31-store count.

Ohio (the next one!)

Finally, as far as we can tell (a “Coming Soon” notice on its website), the next Freddy’s to open will be in Hilliard, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus.
