Introduced in the 1960s and known for its colorful zebra mascot, Fruit Stripe gum became a staple for generations of kids. The gum was famous for its bright stripes, temporary tattoos in the wrapper, and signature (albeit short-lived) fruity flavor. In 2024, manufacturer Ferrero discontinued the brand, citing shifting consumer demand and a focus on other products in its candy portfolio.
Tab soda
For decades, Tab (soft drink) had a loyal following as one of the first diet sodas in the U.S. Introduced by The Coca‑Cola Company in 1963, the drink developed a cult fan base even after Diet Coke became the company’s flagship diet beverage. Coca-Cola discontinued Tab in 2020 as part of a broader effort to streamline its beverage lineup.
Odwalla smoothies
Once a popular name in premium bottled juices and smoothies, Odwalla disappeared from shelves in 2020. Coca-Cola, which had owned the brand since 2001, said demand for refrigerated smoothies had declined as consumers shifted toward shelf-stable beverages and newer health-focused drinks.
