https://thecoconutmama.com/forget-trader-joes-here-are-7-better-grocery-stores/Despite the legitimate complaints of its naysayers…I think we can all agree that Trader Joe’s remains one of the best grocery stores out there.
Especially in terms of having great specialty foods that you either can’t get anywhere else…or are just of such great quality and price that you shouldn’t get them anywhere else.

You may have your favorites – and if so, please share them in the comments – but in my opinion, the big ones are:
- Olive oil. I’m sorry, but it’s true – TJ’s olive oil is genuinely the best mass market olive oil I’ve ever had. You want to go to Italy and bring back something better in your suitcase? Be my guest. Otherwise – this is as good as it gets.
- Frozen beef and broccoli. This is easily the best frozen meal I’ve ever had, and it beats Chinese takeout, hands-down. Always keep a couple bags of it on hand just in case.
- Flour. Experienced bakers know that TJ’s flour is pretty much equivalent to King Arthur in quality – and it’s way cheaper. This one’s obvious.
- Plantain chips. Most plantain chips are too sweet. TJ’s has managed to deliver a snack that’s just the right amount of salty – it’s the best plantain chip on the market, no doubt about it.
- Snacky clusters. Think Fritos + Lay’s + pretzels dipped in chocolate. The perfect mix any time your sweet tooth gets going.
Ok, what did I miss? What other amazing food should people only buy at TJ’s? Post a comment and share!
