Aldi has unveiled more than 25 Advent calendars for the 2026 holiday season, with options starting at $1.99 and a $59.99 wine assortment designed to pair with a separate cheese calendar. The discount grocer announced November 4 as the in-store launch date, with products offered only while supplies last.
The lineup arrives as Aldi continues a larger push to refresh its stores and products nationwide. Alongside recent changes at Aldi stores, this year’s holiday collection puts more emphasis on giftable surprises, from coffee and chocolate to baking tools and branded merchandise.

Wine and cheese are meant to match
Aldi says it designed the 2026 $59.99 Wine Advent Calendar and $16.99 Emporium Selection Advent Cheese Calendar to work together. Daily pairings include Chardonnay-Fiano wine with Herb & Garlic Gouda, and the wine calendar features a new selection from regions including Greece and France.
The calendars are sold separately, so shoppers can choose either one. But buying both offers a planned wine-and-cheese tasting experience throughout the countdown to Christmas.
At $59.99, the wine calendar is one of the pricier products Aldi highlighted. The simpler Choceur Kids chocolate calendar costs just $1.99, illustrating how wide the price range is this year.
Hot sauce, coffee and unexpected holiday gifts
The returning Burman’s Hot Sauce Advent Calendar costs $14.99 and contains 25 bottles. For a less spicy countdown, the $16.99 Barissimo Coffee and Cocoa Advent Calendar introduces a new cocoa variation and updated coffee flavors.
New for 2026 is the $29.99 Aldi Super Fan Advent Calendar, with 12 branded surprises including socks, ornaments, wine stoppers and a snow globe. The $19.99 Crofton 24 Days of Baking calendar swaps edible treats for baking gadgets.
There are other nonfood options, too: a $19.99 stationery calendar holds notebooks, pens, markers and sticky notes, while a $14.99 sensory calendar contains toys such as slimes and squishies.
Even pets get a turn. The refreshed Pure Being Dog Advent Calendar costs $7.99 and includes toys and treats.
What shoppers should know before heading to Aldi
Aldi’s October 30 announcement set November 4 as the starting date for its 2026 collection. It did not guarantee that every calendar would be available at every store. The limited-time assortment is sold while supplies last, and selections can differ by location.
The wine calendar also depends on whether a particular store sells alcohol, so checking the local assortment before making a special trip is sensible. Aldi has not announced a nationwide last day of sales for these products.
The chain says sales of select Advent calendars rose nearly 20% last year, helping explain why it is expanding into new categories. That doesn’t mean every item will sell out, but shoppers eyeing a specific calendar may not want to leave their choice until December.
From a $1.99 chocolate countdown to a coordinated wine-and-cheese experience, Aldi’s holiday assortment now covers far more than a traditional candy calendar. The key question for shoppers is which of those options their local store still has in stock.
