You can order essentially anything from the menu in that size – hot, iced, frozen, coffee, latte, chiller, what have you. If you order an espresso, this size will come with one espresso shot (1 oz).
Medium: 16 oz
It’s a sizeable jump in volume from small to medium, although the pricing usually doesn’t reflect the change in size. (Drinks are a high-margin business for Krispy Kreme and, well, anyone else who sells drinks. Food’s often a loss-leader to get you in the door so they can make money off the drinks.) The medium will get you two espresso shots (so, 2 oz). It’s worth noting that Krispy Kreme’s medium is two ounces more than Dunkin’s medium.
Large: 20 oz
Another four-ounce jump from medium to large at Krispy Kreme – their large comes in at 20 ounces, which is the same as Dunkin’s large coffee. This is the size for a big caffeine boost (and if you’re into lattes, a big sugar boost too). You’ll get three espresso shots at this size for most drinks, and four espresso shots for an Americano.
