Arizona shoppers expecting a typical Costco food court at the chain’s new Chandler location may be surprised: this warehouse is designed around business supplies, not hot dogs and pizza. The same membership card that comes with Costco’s everyday membership perks gets shoppers into the new Business Center, even if they don’t run a business.
The difference is what’s on the shelves. Costco Business Centers emphasize restaurant and workplace supplies, large food quantities and products that may be hard to find at a conventional warehouse.

More than 70% of the merchandise is different
According to Costco, more than 70% of the items at its Business Centers differ from those at ordinary Costco warehouses. Shoppers can find commercial kitchen equipment, cases of individually packaged snacks, an expanded beverage selection and groceries sold in larger quantities.
That assortment can be helpful for restaurants, caterers, offices and convenience stores. But households buying for a party, school event or large family gathering may also find useful options. Specific products and prices can vary, so the national Business Center assortment is not a promise of what will be on a particular Chandler shelf.
There are trade-offs. Local reporting says the Chandler Business Center will not have a food court or pharmacy. Anyone hoping to grab a familiar Costco hot dog or pick up a prescription should plan to visit a traditional warehouse instead.
Where the Arizona Business Center is located
Costco lists the new location at 1111 West Pecos Road, Chandler, AZ 85286, near Alma School Road and Loop 202. Its official Chandler Business Center listing gives November 7, 2026, as the announced opening date.
Local business reporting described a roughly 140,000-square-foot building and a planned 15-pump gas station. It also reported a 7 a.m. opening time for the announced date. Members should check the current location listing for operating status and hours before making a special trip, particularly because fuel service may follow a different schedule.
Costco already operates a conventional Chandler warehouse on South Galleria Way. The Business Center is another shopping option for the area, not a replacement for that existing store.
What members should know before visiting
Costco says its Business Centers generally operate from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week, although individual and holiday hours can vary. That differs from the schedule at many traditional warehouses, so checking the specific location is important.
Business Centers also run their own savings events. Costco says those discounts are applied at checkout without clipping coupons, but deals and dates may not match promotions advertised for standard warehouses. Check local availability before shopping for a particular item.
The bottom line is that a Costco Business Center is not restricted to business owners. Chandler shoppers with an active Costco membership can explore a different selection of bulk food and supplies—they just shouldn’t expect every amenity of their usual warehouse.
